What a day here actually involves

Four campuses across Hyderabad, twelve laboratories, four libraries, an eight-lane pool and 68 tracked buses. More usefully: a day that starts with the same adult every morning and ends with somewhere to be.

The thing a facilities list cannot tell you

Every school in Hyderabad publishes a page like this one, and after three of them the lists blur into each other. Laboratories, a library, a pool, buses — the differences are marginal and none of them predict whether your child will be happy.

What predicts it is the noise level in a corridor at changeover, whether children look at an adult when they speak to them, and what happens in the thirty seconds after a child gets something wrong in front of the class. You cannot photograph any of that, which is why we keep asking you to come and stand in the building.

See it properly

Come on a working day
