What families do pay for separately
Uniform, which runs to roughly ₹4,500 a year including sports kit, and books, roughly ₹3,000 to ₹6,000 depending on year group. Both are bought from suppliers of your choosing — we publish the list and do not operate a school shop, because a school that profits from its own uniform requirement has a conflict of interest.
Residential trips in Classes 7 to 10 are optional and separately costed, typically ₹6,000 to ₹12,000. No child is excluded from a trip for cost; talk to the office and it is handled quietly.
If money gets difficult
Talk to the office before the due date rather than after. There is a hardship process, roughly one in fifty of our students is on need-based support, and no child has been asked to leave Siksha for fee arrears since 2011. That is easier to arrange with notice than with a missed payment.
Annual increases
Fees have risen between 5% and 8% a year for the last decade, and the following year’s figure is published each January — before you have to commit to staying.
Support available
Scholarships and concessions
Merit, need-based and sports awards, plus an automatic 15% sibling concession from the second child.
