Open days show you a performance. We would much rather you came on a normal working day, walked into a real classroom mid-lesson, and made up your own mind.

What a visit involves

A walk through a working school
Lessons in progress, not a staged tour. You will see classrooms mid-lesson, the labs in use and the corridors at changeover.
Time with a senior teacher
Not a marketing person. Someone who teaches, and can answer a question about the curriculum without checking.
Questions, for as long as you want
This is the part most visitors say they valued. There is no scripted close and nobody will ask you to commit to anything.

How many teachers left last year, and why?
What does the school do badly?
Can I see an anonymised report card for this year group?
How is bullying actually handled, with an example?
