A small boarding house at the Kompally campus, taking students from Class 6. Deliberately small — at 120 beds the houseparents know every boarder, which stops being true somewhere around two hundred.
Who boards, and why
Most of our boarders are students whose families are outside Hyderabad, or whose parents' work makes a daily routine impossible. We do not encourage boarding for children who could reasonably be day students.
The evening routine
Supervised prep from 6:30 to 8:00 PM, dinner together, and lights out by 9:30 PM for Classes 6 to 8. Weekends include an outing, and boarders may go home any weekend with written notice.
Pastoral care
Two resident houseparents plus a rotating duty teacher every night. The counsellor holds a weekly session in the boarding house specifically, because homesickness in Class 6 is real and does not resolve by being ignored.
