Pre-Primary
UKG
There are no textbooks in pre-primary and no written homework. Children learn through structured play, story, song, sand, water and a great deal of talking. Literacy and number sense are built in — but a visitor watching a Nursery morning would mostly see children absorbed in something.

Where the emphasis goes in this stage
- Oral language before written language — in English, Telugu and Hindi
- Fine motor control through art, threading, clay and cutting
- Learning to separate from a parent, and to rejoin a group
- Number sense through objects, not worksheets
The full curriculum pack for UKG — weekly timetable, subject-by-subject learning outcomes, project list, booklist and assessment schedule — is published each May and is available to download. Families already with us receive it through the parent portal.
