How athletics works here

The 400-metre track at Kompally supports sprints, middle distance, long jump, high jump and shot put. Athletics is where the inter-house championship is ultimately decided, which gives it a following that pure participation numbers would not predict.

Other individual sports

Badminton

Four indoor courts, and the sport with our deepest competitive squad.

Table tennis

Six tables, and the only sport where a Class 6 student beat the coach.

Skating

A dedicated rink, and the sport our youngest students take up first.

Karate

Belt gradings twice a year, assessed by an external panel.

Gymnastics

Foundation gymnastics for everyone in Classes 1 to 4.

Fixtures and squad sessions run most Saturdays in term time. Visiting families are welcome to watch.
