What it involves
Block programming in Class 5, Python from Class 6, and from Class 9 an introduction to machine learning that spends as much time on what models get wrong as on how to build them. Students are taught to use AI tools and to interrogate them.
What students come away with
- Python fundamentals: functions, loops, data structures
- Version control and working in a pair
- Evaluating a model's failure modes
- Using AI tools honestly in academic work
