Flag hoisting takes place at 8:00 AM on the main ground at each of the four campuses, led by the head students.
The assembly that follows is put together by Class 5 rather than by staff. They choose what to present, which has over the years produced everything from a reading of the Preamble in four languages to a rather pointed presentation on what independence did and did not deliver.
Parents are welcome. The ceremony finishes by 9:30 AM and the school day continues as normal.

Annual Day 2026 — Sutradhaar
1,100 students, six regional performance traditions and two shows in one evening. The largest production the school has staged.
