Rangotsav is the inter-school cultural festival Siksha has hosted since 2011. Fourteen schools from across Hyderabad compete across eleven categories over two days.
Categories run from Carnatic and Hindustani vocal through Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi to street theatre, quiz, elocution in three languages, and a 24-hour film-making challenge.
Hosting duties fall to Class 9, who manage registration, scheduling, hospitality and the running of every venue. Staff supervise, but the festival is genuinely run by fifteen-year-olds, and it shows in the best possible way.
