The board year. The timetable tightens, the tutorials become weekly and one-to-one, and past papers become a regular fixture from November. Sport and arts stay on the timetable — we have never been persuaded that removing them improves results.

  • Sits the CBSE Class 10 board examination or Cambridge IGCSE
  • Completes the full prescribed practical programme in all three sciences
  • Produces a portfolio of past-paper work with self-marked corrections
  • Has a counselled, written plan for Class 11 stream selection

Assessment

Three pre-board examinations under full board conditions, continuous unit tests, and the internal assessment components prescribed by the board. Individual target grades are set in June and reviewed monthly.
