Published in full before the year starts, because families plan travel around it. Dates move only for a public-holiday change or a board instruction, and any change is circulated in writing.

Term
Two terms, not three
Term 1 runs June to September, Term 2 October to April. We moved away from three terms in 2019 because the middle term was too short to teach anything properly in.
Holidays are actual holidays
No holiday homework is set over Dasara, Diwali or the winter break in any year group, including Class 10. Reading is encouraged; worksheets are not issued.
Changes are circulated
If a date shifts, a numbered circular goes out and the portal calendar updates the same day. You should never learn about a change from another parent.
