Four commitments we are willing to be measured against
Values are cheap to write and expensive to keep. Each of these four is followed by what it actually costs us — because a value that costs nothing is a slogan.
Curiosity before compliance
We would rather a child ask an inconvenient question than memorise a convenient answer. Every classroom keeps time for questions the syllabus did not plan for.
What it costs us
Every timetable from Class 1 upward reserves periods for questions the syllabus did not plan for. It costs roughly 4% of teaching time.
Every child known by name
No student is a roll number. Class sizes stay under 24 so that a teacher can tell you how your child is actually doing, not just what they scored.

The class cap of 24 has been challenged at board level four times and upheld four times, each time at a direct cost to capacity.
Kind, but never soft
Warmth and high standards are not opposites. We hold students to real expectations and then make sure nobody has to meet them alone.

Sport and arts stay on the timetable through the Class 10 board year. Most schools in Hyderabad remove them.
A school inside a neighbourhood
Parents sit on our academic review panel. Alumni teach our Saturday clubs. The campus gates are open to the community six weekends a year.

Two parent representatives sit on the academic review panel with full voting rights, and the campus opens to the neighbourhood six weekends a year.
The house system
Four houses, named after four rivers
Every student and every member of staff belongs to a house from their first day. Houses cut across year groups, which is the point — it is the only structure in the school where a Class 2 child and a Class 10 student are on the same side.

How we talk about ourselves
One more commitment, this one about language. There is a house style for everything written in this school’s name, and it exists because education marketing has a habit of saying a great deal while promising nothing.
- Speak to parents as equals, never talk down to them.
- Prefer specific proof over adjectives — a number, a name, a result.
- Warm, but never saccharine. Confident, but never boastful.
- Short sentences. Plain words. No education jargon without a translation.
There is also a banned list. These phrases appear nowhere on this site, in any letter home, or in any prospectus: world-class, state-of-the-art, holistic development, unleash potential. Each of them sounds like a claim and commits to nothing.
